Don’t overcomplicate it. Mules are built for the elements as long as you work with nature, not against it. Here’s what Steve recommends for colder weather: ✅ Grow that winter coat. No blankets unless you’re showing or they’re sweaty after a ride. ✅ Give them plenty of roughage—hay or pellets—to fuel their internal furnace. ✅ Offer shelter from the wind; a simple windbreak will do.
