Ahhh, tulip season. It's fast-paced, tiring, and subject to all the whims of weather. I harvested tulips during rain, shine, in the dark and a midday total eclipse over the last 14 days. There are a number of tulips that look almost black when the light is right, but blue is an elusive color in nature and especially so with tulips.
