Some of my favorite Kip tips✨✨✨ 1. Take away the jump/arm swing from the glide. This is a place where timing and shape can and often do go wrong from the start. 2. Use a slider for the glide itself. I’m constantly reinforcing hip rise and extension without lifting the legs. 3. Spot the lower back and not the legs. This is a key step for the really close kips or those that are wonky alone. You are guiding the timing and helping some - but kids can immediately feel if they messed something up. 4.
