Bouncing dry flies, one of our favorite techniques to use when fishing a dry dropper rig. It involves using a high rod with a short amount of line and "bouncing" your dry fly with a jigging motion from your rod tip. It works best when your dry fly is tied off a tag that's 4-6 inches long. Alex Venn clearly had a very enjoyable day yesterday! Oh my!!! 14 to the net today up and down Ruggs and bessoms from floater, intermediate and Di 5. Every drift I had action weather that’s a follow a pull or a fish locking up. Really windy today and lots of heavy showers but the action today kept my heart racing. Fish moving on the top in cowmoor as well and pick up a couple around the margins but had majority of them in Ruggs area. It’s fishing its socks off at the minute people would be stupi
