This tree makes an incredible small stature ornamental tree, for shade, flowers, and edible use (young fruits and flowers)! in addition to its multi-stem, low, leaning habit (and quite distinct twigs, which we’ll cover, soon), Eastern redbud can be readily ID’d by its bark."
