114 votes, 59 comments. true. $40 is good for a toy machine deck, but you can get a mini logo deck for $25 from mini logo on skate one's website (company that owns mini logo, Powell peralta, bones, etc) and it'll perform identically.

Apr 27, 2013 · I think its probably placebo effect, fucking love Toy Machine, but that's my vote. The shape is nice, the concave is med-steep, they feel thin and crispy. That's what i like in a deck. try Toy Machine, you've already tried Almost. worst case scenario you have some sweet deck art to hang up on the ol' bedroom wall.

I didn’t really know how much I loved the Toy Machine logo until I went to a shop for a custom build and spent 1.5 hours just narrowing down my “board choice” . The OJ logo is the definition of “slick 90s” 😎 I especially love the Skeleton Toy Machine.

In the movie this is a cheesy sci-fi family restaurant. The updated logo looks like it would fit better with a brewery serving wood-fire pizzas, not Chuck E Cheese with aliens. There are probably ways to update the original logo while still maintaining some of the character and feel (and more accurately representing the dining experience).

I'm thinking of buying an 8" Toy Machine board. How are the boards - shape, durability and lightness wise? I've been stuck with Exp-One board for 4+ years as cruiser and flatground tricks setup.
