Nov 17, 2024 · It used to be that the desktop version of SketchUp was identified as Pro (and way back there was a Make version for hobby use but that’s no longer available). Then they dropped Pro for the name and so it’s just SketchUp 2024.

Jan 2, 2025 · In looking at previous release dates, I see that new versions of SketchUp have been released ranging from November all the way through April. I’m wondering if there is an anticipated release date for SketchUp 2025 as well as Studio. One thing we are hoping for with SketchUp Studio is support for Revit 2025 importing.

Does anyone know where extensions are typically stored on the computer? Or how do I reload them once I have updated. Jan 23, 2024 · Sketchup Pro and Studio are the same base software, with the most recent desktop Sketchup version, Layout and style builder. The difference is that studio adds some very valuable plugins to it, like Scan Essentials and Vray. The price is very different though. Maybe if you purchase Pro you get a studio trial.
