Roger Neveu, a skilled pipefitter-welder for an industrial boiler service company, founded Notch Welding as a sole proprietorship. Leveraging this experience, Roger focused his new business on the industrial heating and piping market.

Notch specializes in the installation of process and utility piping systems for industrial and institutional facilities throughout New England.

We can work with any metal or plastic piping material using any join method, including welding, treading, grooves, gluing, and soldering. We can even develop and execute a prefabrication plan for your piping system, which helps to reduce downtime and disruptions at your facility.

Since 1999, Notch has organized and sponsored the region’s premier competition for high school welding students from across New England. Each competitor spends several months practicing and then, in May, performs a 6″ open-root pipe weld using the SMAW (stick) process.

Notch has the knowledge and experience to ensure our piping solutions for API, biologic, and pharmaceutical manufacturing applications fully meet those special requirements. Notch has the ability to meet all cGMP, OSHA process safety management (PSM) mechanical integrity requirements, as well as ASME Bioprocess Engineering (BPE) standards.

Notch began this process piping project at the end of February, and was able to meet the deadline and complete the project on June 23rd. We provided a large crew of skilled sanitary welders and pipe fitters and worked extended hours to meet the schedule.
