The new standard has been agreed recently by NATO nations in STANAG 2019 Edition 4, and is supposed to be taught from Apr 2001 and brought into service from September 2001. It all starts with the frame. BLUE is Friendly. RED is Hostile. GREEN is Neutral (Or sometimes host nation) and YELLOW is unknown.
