Team 254 is a high-school robotics team from the San Francisco Bay Area. We give students opportunities to experience real world engineering through competitive robotics.

Team 254 did not participate in FTC from 2009 to 2023. For the 2023-2024 school year, The Cheesy Poofs plan to enter five teams in the FIRST Tech Challenge VEX (2009 – 2023)
FRC Year Pages - Team 254
Team 254 had our strongest season yet in 2001, winning two regionals with our robot Holmz, making it to the finals of the FIRST World Championship and winning both California offseason events. The team also won a regional award for our robot’s impressive industrial design.

For the 2023 season, Team 254 competed with our robot, Breakdown, at the Sacramento Regional, the Silicon Valley Regional, and the FIRST Championship in Houston.

2019 FRC Season – Destination: Deep Space For the 2019 season, Team 254 competed with our robot, Backlash. The team had a successful season, winning the San Francisco and Silicon Valley Regional, and they were Einstein finalists at the FIRST Championship in Houston.

For the 2024 season, Team 254 is competing with our robot, Vortex. The team will compete at the Sacramento Regional, the East Bay Regional, and the FIRST Championship.
