Considering purchasing a Bowtech Carbon Icon... - Archery Talk …
Oct 1, 2019 · The carbon icon and carbon Knight are not exactly the same bow. They had the same riser but different cam systems. The icon was a better bow in my opinion with the flip disc giving you comfort or performance options. I hunted with the carbon icon for three years. Bow tuned easy and never had any issues with warped risers.
Carbon Icon (Carbon Zion) advice needed | Archery Talk Forum
Feb 25, 2021 · I have the Carbon Icon. I leave it in comfort 100% of the time, performance is faster but very jumpy/tougher draw. I would get the limbs that are 60-70lbs and run it at 65lbs. Its a very easy draw in comfort at 70lbs compared to my Hoyt RX-3 at 70lbs. The Carbon Icon (or Carbon Zion) are one of the most underated bows in my opinion.
Carbon Icon timing - Archery Talk Forum
Oct 6, 2021 · I need help with timing my carbon icon. I’m trying to get my cams retimed based on the factory marks on the cams. I got the bow last year and after shooting a bit I’ve noticed they are not timed like they were when new. I’ve pressed it a few times and backed off the twist some like bowtech showed in there videos but I’m confused.

Nov 22, 2021 · Personally of the price-point bows that Bowtech makes (both also use Diamond risers), I prefer the Convergence/Amplify over the Icon/Zion.The Convergence/Amplify platform uses an aluminum riser that is not that much heavier than the Icon/Zion. It also has the FlipDisc tech. The Icon had an MSRP of $799 bare. The RAK kit added another $100.
Carbon icon users---need help - Archery Talk Forum
Apr 13, 2018 · Well Bowtech has verified twice with me not to switch shims. Bowtech said the Carbon Icon does tune to the left, not in the middle of the riser shelf. They do not provide a measurement from the riser to arrow. This leads me to believe that my bow just tunes more to the left, on the fringes of the bellcurve of tuning possibilities.
Bowtech Carbon Icon? - Hunt Talk
Dec 4, 2013 · Anyways, it looks like I'm going to get my chance too hunt more with a bow this year, and I'd like to start hunting more with a bow out west. My friend runs a bow shop and sells PSE, Matthew's, and Bowtech. I've been ogling the Carbon Icon and really love how light it is, as well as the draw and release seems really smooth for me.
Thoughts on my new arrow setup with Carbon Icon
Jun 8, 2017 · I recently got a once and a lifetime deal on 72 brand new Carbon Express Piledriver Hunter 350 arrows. The issue is these arrows are much heavier than the Easton Axis 400 arrows I was previously using. The arrows are 11.3 GPI vs. 10 GPI for the Easton. I am shooting a Bowtech Carbon Icon at 60# on the comfort setting.
Problems with Carbon Icon | Archery Talk Forum
May 30, 2016 · I have a left hand 70lb 30in draw Carbon Icon that has a 2 inch right tear. To achieve a bullet hole, the rest is far right as could possibly go. The string appears to tracking ok and there is no cam lean. I am more concerned about the chatter I am getting from the factory cable bar and slide every time you start to draw the bow. Any suggestions?
BowTech Carbon Icon - Archery Talk Forum
Mar 4, 2017 · The Carbon Icon will be my first bow and introduction to it. I am the type of person who, when I find something I want to get into, I obsess and research the hell out of it and do as much homework on the subject as possible to make sure I get the most out of my money.
Bowtech Carbon Icon........? | Archery Talk Forum
Nov 17, 2017 · I have owned the Carbon Icon and the Diamond Deploy SB (carbon knight moved to the diamond line). They use the same riser and limbs, and are the same weight. The Icon has the flip disk for comfort or performance. In my opinion, the Diamond is a better shooting bow.
