Despite marketed as a sequel to Train to Busan (2016), this film is a stand-alone movie that does not feature or mention any of the previous film's characters.

There are no actors of Train to Busan in the sequel; The film only costed about 16 million dollars to make. That's low budget in the States. World War Z had a budget of 190 million. No, unlike Train to Busan Peninsula doesn't add anything new to the zombie genre. It is however a fun and entertaining ride and the first 20 minutes are awesome.
