May 21, 2024 · It seems like teams with 2 or 3 pant colors won't ever have a "main" road look. The mixing and matching, superstitions, social media uniform combo announcements, players having more say than they used to, etc. all encourage teams to switch things up constantly.

Feb 8, 2021 · Super Bowl Rose (or was it the other Super Bowl Rose)? When there's 55+ of these, it just gets to be too much, and the numbers aren't super readable in most of them in patch form. I like seeing a game photo and instantly knowing it's from Super Bowl LII (where the Philadelphia Eagles defeated Tom Brady to become Super Bowl Champions).

I think the person that wrote the article probably either doesn't pay much attention to Super Bowl fields, or used Super Bowl logo instead of NFL logo, to make things simpler for the average reader. It would be neat to see a change, as long as it isn't a the Super Bowl logo at midfield, and NFL logs at the 25's.

Feb 8, 2021 · The lack of “local flair” and geographic identifiers in each Super Bowl’s brand makes the game’s brand seem less special than predecessors who’ve embraced thier hosts, as well as other major events that brand according to host (Final Four, Olympics, World Cup, various league All-Star games, etc).

May 3, 2014 · Super Bowl XLIX: Seahawks have same endzone as previous year, which again, is the same as their home end zone. The Patriots was the same, too, except for the addition of the AFC logo following the word mark. Super Bowl 50: The Broncos endzone was exactly the same as it is in Denver (without the Navy colored in, of course).

May 3, 2014 · The Super Bowl fields always look so much better on a grass field. It's extremely disappointing that the Rams new stadium opted for turf (because of the needless roof in southern California). California Super Bowls on grass have always looked by far the best, in the daylight.
