Jan 27, 2020 · Hit the button to show the recent apps, you'll see your suggested apps. Then press the 3 little dots on the top right corner. This will take you to the settings for recent apps. Turn off/on from there. Suggestions gone this way for me.

Aug 30, 2023 · When clicking the recents button, the frequently used apps icons do not actually reflect apps that are most commonly used. The recently used apps screen shows random app screens, not in order of those recently used. Does not show as many recent apps as previous One UI instance.
