Jun 11, 2018 · I think Michael Peterson comes across as cold and unemotional. When he speaks about emotion, it sounds trite, uncaring, and rehearsed. But then you learn that he adopted those girls. He brought them back to the US to raise them as a single father. How unemotional can he be? He sounds like a wonderfully caring person.

May 8, 2022 · Granted, I am only watching the show, so there’s a lot I’m probably missing but nothing can change my mind on this- I may never know WHY he did it, but I have no doubt in my mind that Michael Peterson is a murderer. He’s a passion killer tho.. no premeditation for this guy. Probably why it’s so hard to pin him.

I think he killed the friend in Germany because she found evidence of her husband (that had died) and Michael's relationship. He killed Kathleen because she found the emails and pics of his male porn.

Dr Phil also asks whether he had a relationship with the Staircase editor: Michael Peterson said she visited him in jail and then lived together... but he doesn’t say they had a relationship.

Jun 4, 2022 · A lot's changed since 2003. We have a much wider acceptance of homosexuality now - we didn't even have gender-neutral pronouns then. Michael Peterson had a lot to lose in 2001 because his family didn't know he had secret affairs with men. So I can understand why he lied about that. And the jury didn't like him. But it doesn't make him guilty.

Michael Peterson is a known liar This is true. He lied about his military service, he lied about whether Kathleen knew about his bisexuality and sexual encounters, and some believe he changed his story with regards to the events of the night of her death.
