The Long Beach Democrat accused President Trump of “defying” a Supreme Court order to help facilitate the return of a man mistakenly deported.

A contingent of Congressional members arrived in El Salvador Monday to advocate for the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador and incarcerated.

While Trump administration officials have acknowledged the deportation decision was done in error, they have said they have no power to return him to the country despite a Supreme Court ruling calling on the government to do so.
