TROY, MI -- Police say there is no active threat to the community following a shooting that took place Thursday morning at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital. Initial reports suggested an active shooter situation was unfolding at the hospital, but police now say the alleged attack was a “targeted incident.”

One person was injured in a shooting at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital Thursday, the shooter is in custody.

Roberts, 28, is accused of shooting and killing the woman during an argument Tuesday night at the 69th Street station in Greater Grand Crossing.

Chicago police said the victim got into an argument with another woman who took out a gun at the 69th Street CTA platform. The victim was shot in the neck and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center,
