Ford Reveals Electric NASCAR Mustang Mach-E That Will Tackle Pikes Peak
Following on the heels of two SuperVans and a SuperTruck, Ford unveiled a Mustang Mach-E NASCAR prototype on Thursday. While NASCAR doesn’t currently organize a racing series for electric vehicles, you will be able to see this Mach-E stock car going flat-out this year.
Ford returns to Pikes Peak in 2025, with a twist on Mustang Mach-E
The automaker confirmed Thursday in a press release that it would send a new one-off demonstrator based on the Mustang Mach-E to the 2025 Pikes Peak Hill Climb, scheduled for late June. It follows EV demonstrators based on the F-150 Lightning pickup truck and Transit van that ran in 2024 and 2023, respectively.

Ford announced its 2025 Pikes Peak Hill Climb race car, which will debut in the form of a Mustang Mach-E Crossover. The one-off demonstrator vehicle will be driven by Romain Dumas, the French driver who drove Ford’s previous two Pikes Peak International Hill Climb entries.
