Former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy was found dead Saturday night in Houston from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in his car after being pursued by police, according to a report Sunday from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. He was 24.

The LSU receiver was under consideration by NFL teams in the upcoming draft, but he was facing possible charges after being involved in a deadly crash.

HOUSTON — Former LSU receiver Kyren Lacy, who was facing criminal charges stemming from a fatal car accident in December, died at age 24, a university athletics spokesman said Sunday.
