Jayson Tatum put on a show at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, leading the Celtics to a blowout win over the Knicks. He also made a bit of a franchise history in process of scoring a game-high 40 points, the second time he’s scored 35-plus points in a game against the Knicks this year.

- The offensive struggles continued for New York, but Jalen Brunson was doing a good job of getting to the line to keep them in the game. The captain was the only Knick in double figures at the halftime break as he drilled 11 free throws to bring his total to 18 for the half.

The Knicks, who opened their season with a blowout loss in Boston, entered Saturday night viewing their rematch with the defending-champion Celtics as a measuring stick as they approach the All-Star break.

As much as we may not like the switch-flipping of this version of the Celtics, it's hard to debate it's not real after this performance.
