The Pittsburgh Steelers could turn to Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins if the team can't sign Aaron Rodgers in free agency. According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the Steelers will "likely be interested" in Cousins if Rodgers doesn't sign with them.

A new report from NFL insider Albert Breer suggested Cousins may be willing to waive his no-trade clause after the draft. This would help him avoid going to another team with a rookie quarterback. Cousins reportedly chose to sign in Atlanta over Minnesota because the Vikings told him they planned to draft a quarterback.

The Atlanta Falcons are at a standstill with quarterback Kirk Cousins. With Cousins still on Atlanta's roster, the 36-year-old received a $10 million bonus that applies to the 2026 cap. It also means the Falcons gain nothing by releasing Cousins, who told owner Arthur Blank he wants to go to a place where he can start in 2025.
