Amid the jockeying for position in the NBA playoff race, the franchise fired both their head coach Michael Malone and their GM Calvin Booth. It stunned the entire NBA world and rightfully so as reports that the coach and GM weren't getting along bubbled to the surface.

"Jokic was privy to the decision [firing Malone] before it was announced, and there was not an objection, people familiar with the situation told USA TODAY Sports. The requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the team’s internal operations."
