Yayoi Kusama, is a Japanese artist and writer. She started to paint using polka dots and nets as motifs at around age ten ,and created fantastic paintings in watercolors, pastels and oils.

Almost 500,000 people have visited the exhibition of celebrated Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama at the National Gallery of Victoria – a record number for any ticketed art show in the country.
