"The White Lotus" is an anthology series, and as such, the seasons are largely disconnected. The sole connective tissue between the three seasons is that they take place at a White Lotus resort and that Greg (Jon Gries) always makes an appearance ... though in season 3, he goes by the name Gary.

The Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui served as the setting of the White Lotus in Thailand for season three. The cast for season 4 hasn't been announced yet. Stars of season three also included Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, Parker Posey, Lalisa Manobal, Arnas Fedaravicius, Charlotte Le Bon and Christian Friedel.

The Thailand-set chapter of Mike White's anthology closed with dramatic deaths and a lot of resolutions in an episode that's probably more rewarding to think about than it was to watch.
