A $500 million redevelopment of Westfield Booragoon is back on the cards, amid competition from other centres, two years after the initial plans were put on the backburner.

At a cost of $500 million, the long-awaited redevelopment would increase the centre’s footprint from 72,000sqm to 109,375sqm and propel it from fifth-biggest in WA to number two.
