Thames Water Utilities said it would start the drawing process for the first tranche of funding after a majority of creditors approved its refinancing plan. The U.K. utility said funding would be provided in the first few weeks of April.

The water utility selected the private equity company as preferred partner to help it deal with its debt pile, but warned that bondholders might have to take losses under the firm’s proposal.
