In his latest mock draft a few weeks ago, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. had Sanders going to the New York Jets at the No. 7 pick. This week Kiper was asked to give a player comparison to Sanders and he went with a former Jets QB—Chad Pennington.

The Giants have been heavily linked to quarterback Shedeur Sanders this offseason, and if the star passer out of Colorado is still available at the No. 3 pick, it’s likely he’ll be headed for New York. ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper appeared on UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio this week and gave an interesting comparison for the young quarterback.

But while much of the hay is in the barn, the less publicly transparent aspects of the pre-draft process will continue to unfold as some prospects conduct individual workouts and provide updated medical information – often during official visits to NFL clubs.
