An Ohio-born author had one of her books on the American Library Association's Top Challenged Books list for 2024.

An official at the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library says the reader likely checked "Wild West" out around Halloween 1926. The book was supposed to be back by Nov. 23 that year.
