Gale penned all three Back to the Future movies alongside director Robert Zemeckis. At the Saturn Awards, he poured water over any hopes for more movies (via Collider ).

After being asked about the possibility of a “Back to the Future 4,” Gale told Yahoo Entertainment, “People always say, ‘When are you going to do ‘Back to the Future 4?’ And we say, ‘F–k you.’” The first sci-fi flick, “Back to the Future,” premiered in 1985 followed by “Back to the Future Part II” in 1989.
