Dozens of protesters have converged in the heart of the Latino community in Minneapolis after a large force of federal and local authorities wearing tactical gear conducted what they called a law enforcement action.

Local officials quickly pushed back against initial concerns that a federal immigration raid took place at a Mexican restaurant on Lake Street. No arrests were reported.
