Microsoft adds that the issue can occur after updating to Version 2406 Build 17726.20126+, which was released in June 2024, on the Current Channel, Monthly Enterprise Channel, or the Insider channels.

The outage also impacted Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Store. The problems with Outlook were first reported around 8.30pm, peaked at 9pm, and have now been resolved.
