The Bills have a James Cook problem. During the annual meetings in Orlando, G.M. Brandon Beane made it clear that Cook won't be getting a new contract "anytime soon," after initial talks went nowhere.

The running back position has become more important across the NFL than it has been in many years, however, the Buffalo Bills don't appear to be super eager to jump on the train and give out a massive contract to their star rusher.

James Cook is off to a very nice start to his career in Buffalo. The 25-year-old who was taken in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft is coming off two straight 1,000-yard seasons and led the NFL in touchdowns last year.
