The original Hot Shots, known as The Turf in the 1950s, was a staple in Chester. When it was demolished in September 2023 , rumors began circulating about new owners were planning to launch a spinoff.

The beer will be available starting at 11 a.m., with a release party with the Hot Shots owners at 5 p.m. "Man, is it tasty. I love it," brewmaster and owner Fred Karm said.
