UP Warriorz (UPW) have acquired Chinelle Henry as an injury replacement for Alyssa Healy for WPL 2025 after the Australia and UPW captain was ruled out of the tournament because of a stress injury in her right foot.

UP Warriorz have named Chinelle Henry as a replacement for Alyssa Healy. Royal Challengers Bengaluru roped in Heather Graham and Kim Garth after Kate Cross and Sophie Devine opted out of the tournament.

Healy is currently recovering from a stress reaction in her right foot, due to ruptures to her plantar fascia during the T20 World Cup in October. This injury made her miss the T20I leg of the series against England, where she played only as a batter and handed over wicketkeeping duties to Beth Mooney.

UP Warriorz on Monday drafted in Chinelle Henry as a replacement for injured Alyssa Healy for the upcoming edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL).

Australia and UP Warriorz captain Alyssa will miss the third edition of WPL, which will be held across four venues in Vadodara, Lucknow, Bengaluru and Mumbai from February 14 to March 15.

The defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have had to tweak their overseas roster despite not having a foreign signing at auction. Injuries and pullouts haven't helped RCB and UP Warriorz had to make a last-minute change as well with skipper Alyssa Healy ruled out due to injury.
