(NEXSTAR) – Bruce Glover, a character actor known for his work in the 007 film “Diamonds Are Forever” and Roman Polanski’s “Chinatown,” has died at 92. News of Glover’s death was publicly announced over the weekend by his son Crispin Glover, of such films as “Back to the Future” and “Wild at Heart.”

Bruce was best known for his character roles as Duffy in Chinatown, starring opposite Jack Nicholson, and James Bond villain Mr Wint in Diamonds Are Forever (1971).

Bruce Glover, best known for playing the assassin Mr. Wint in the James Bond film, “Diamonds Are Forever,” died at 92 years old on Mar. 12. The veteran character actor’s son, Crispin Hellion Glover, confirmed the death on his Instagram page Saturday, but did not provide further details. A cause of death was not revealed.
