The Sacramento Kings suffered a crushing loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday night, getting taken down 111-109 after blowing a 16-point lead. In a losing effort, the Kings were led by star forward DeMar DeRozan with 31 points and eight assists on 12-for-24 (50%) shooting from the field.

Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers fell to the Thunder on Saturday, losing 132-111. Gilgeous-Alexander offered 33 points, which seemed to be enough for him to win over another supporter in his MVP case. Tyrese Haliburton is convinced that SGA should win the Michael Jordan Trophy.

As the 2024-25 regular season winds down to two weeks, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has about as ironclad of an MVP case as anybody has seen in recent memory. It shouldn't be a shocker to see him create distance from Nikola Jokic in the two-player race.
