A dinner gala for a Tulsa-based evangelical political advocacy group hosted State Superintendent Ryan Walters March 6, but almost as many people attended to protest outside.

State Superintendent Ryan Walters speaks tonight in Glenpool for a group that believes they are “anointed” by God to run government.

Walters was speaking at a gala involving city elders and religious leaders. Protestors outside were standing against his recent efforts to send 500 Bibles to schools in Oklahoma.
