The con is that Goedert remains productive when healthy. He was an extremely important playmaker for the Eagles in their postseason run, catching 17 passes for 215 yards and a touchdown in four playoff games. He's also a very good blocker alongside being a solid weapon in the passing game.

The Eagles have opened trade negotiations over the last several months for tight end Dallas Goedert. The 30-year-old pass catcher is looking for a long-term extension and carries a cap charge of over $11 million in 2025. Philadelphia wants to save money. Goedert wants more. It's not hard to see where this can end up.
