A woman testified Thursday that New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers grabbed her by the neck, slammed her against the wall and pushed her down the stairs after another man called her cellphone several times while they were in bed.

The Patriots safety is accused of slamming his girlfriend's head into a wall and choking her in October. His lawyer says he'll be exonerated.

Ahead of the start of his trial on domestic violence charges, Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers admitted to sufficient facts on a misdemeanor drug possession charge for cocaine found in his wallet on the night of his arrest.
