A familiar scene played out Wednesday evening in Denver: The Timberwolves ran the Nuggets off the floor. Minnesota dominated its 115-95 victory from start to finish to improve to 3-0 this season against Denver. The Wolves have beaten Nikola Jokic and Co. five straight times dating back to last year’s second-round playoff series.

The Timberwolves’ 115-95 win was their fifth in a row over the Nuggets dating back to last postseason, which includes Minnesota’s 20-point comeback in Game 7 of the second-round series. Minnesota has held the Nuggets under 105 points in four of those games and won by 20 or more points in three of those games.

Anthony Edwards scored 29 points, Julius Randle added 25 and the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Denver Nuggets 115-95 on Wednesday for their season-high sixth win in a row.
