Up to 2-inch hail, larger than a golf ball but smaller than a tennis ball, and 75 mph winds are forecast for southeastern Colorado on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

A spring filled with heavy-hitting weather is ratcheting up once more, as forecasters are warning residents across parts of Texas of "a potentially significant severe threat" Sunday evening. The nasty weather was already moving across North Texas on Sunday morning.

Current forecasts show storms moving into the area at about 4 p.m. and diminishing by about 10 p.m., bringing slight risks of ping pong ball-sized hail and winds up to 65 miles per hour, as well as heavy rainfall, with more than an inch of rain possible in the Sioux Falls area by the morning of June 3.
