There were a few extra minutes built in between the end of a come-from-behind 8-4 victory for the White Sox over the Red Sox on Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park and the beginning of starting pitcher Sean Burke's postgame session with the media.

The lowly Chicago White Sox designated the 34-year-old Clevinger for assignment on Wednesday. Clevinger tallied a 7.94 ERA and walked eight over 5.2 innings. White Sox manager Will Venable suggested the decision had more to do with fit than performance.
