Josh Brolin has led tributes to his "brave" and " uber- creative" friend, Val Kilmer. His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, confirmed that pneumonia was the cause of death. Meanwhile, Josh Gad uploaded a photo of Kilmer in costume as Tom' Iceman' Kazansky in the 1986 action feature,

We are the parents who are screamed at every day of the week by our children saying, ‘Why can’t you just be like everyone else’s parents...?’”

Kilmer died from pneumonia at age 65 on April 1, according to his daughter Mercedes.

Val Kilmer, who reportedly died from pneumonia Tuesday, was remembered by fellow actors including Josh Brolin and Josh Gad.
