DENVER (KDVR) — After a mild weekend, near-record-warm temperatures are in Denver’s weather forecast to start the workweek. Sunday night will be partly cloudy and mild. Low temperatures will only fall to 40 degrees, which is more than 20 degrees above average low temperatures for this time of year.

Temperatures in Denver were expected to climb to 59 degrees and fall to 32 overnight Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunshine returns in abundance to kick off next week as Denver climbs into the middle 60s. The extended period also looks to stay dry, although there is a slight chance there could be some moisture around next Thursday.

Denver weather is kicking off February on a very mild note with highs maxing out in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
