China has reiterated its threat to take “necessary countermeasures" following Trump’s decision to impose 10% tariffs on China.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum also promised on X, formerly Twitter, "tariff and nontariff measures" in response to Trump's plan. China's Ministry of Commerce said it would file a legal case against the U.S. at the World Trade Organization in response to Trump's 10 percent tariffs on Chinese goods.
