Israel's "Iron Beam" laser air defense system is being deployed in the field and offers the first cost-effective response to drone warfare.

Developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, these energy weapons direct an intense beam of light at a target and use heat to damage or destroy it.

The newly revealed pod contains a 25kW distributed gain laser, scalable up to 300kW in future configurations.
