There wasn't much in the way of big splashes for the Raiders this free agency period. Their best additions will be the acquisition of Geno Smith in trade with the Seahawks and last year's big splash DT Christian Wilkins returning healthy.

The Raiders have brought in a new tight end. Las Vegas announced on Tuesday that the club has signed veteran Ian Thomas. A fourth-round pick in the 2018 draft, Thomas had spent his entire career with the Panthers.

Tuesday the Raiders added some depth to the tight end room with the addition of longtime Panthers TE Ian Thomas.

The Las Vegas Raiders signed unrestricted free agent defensive tackle Leki Fotu and tight end Ian Thomas to contracts on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old was originally tendered by the Patriots at the right of first refusal, which would have paid him for $3.26 million on a one-year deal. That gave other teams the option to sign Elliss to an offer sheet with a contract of their choosing, but left the Patriots a chance to match it.

Christian Elliss isn't going anywhere, as the New England Patriots will reportedly match the Raiders' offer sheet for the linebacker.
