Kings Island is opening for its 2025 season and reimagining one of its classic roller coasters, according to a press release from the amusement park.

Six Flags Great Adventure is days away from opening, and many thrill seekers will be headed for The Flash: Vertical Velocity coaster, the first "super boomerang" roller coaster in North America.

The roller coaster is said to be the biggest single in-park investment in the resort's history. LEGOLAND Florida will also open a new aquarium, SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium, on May 23, 2025.
