Plane hit power line before crashing into Platte River near Fremont, NTSB says
In an email to Channel 8, the NTSB said preliminary information indicates the Cessna 180 aircraft struck a power line before crashing into the Platte River on Friday around 8:15 p.m. Emergency crews staged at Luther Hormel Memorial Park next to the river, according to a Channel 8 reporter at the scene.
