The NASCAR Cup Series takes on the half-mile paper clip for the first time in 2025 with the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway.

The Darlington race weekend usually produces meaningful throwback paint schemes for drivers to run, honoring NASCAR legends of the past. Ryan Blaney is running a NASCAR Xfinity Series scheme raced by his father, Dave Blaney. Kyle Larson will be running a popular throwback scheme to Terry Labonte's tiger-themed Kellogg's Chevrolet.

Darlington has been kind to the team. Rick Hendrick's group has tallied 16 wins, two of which have come from the current crop of drivers. That's the most victories at the 1.366-mile, egg-shaped oval of any organization in the sport.
